Miranda Lynn Chapman, Emergency Medical Technician, and special effects makeup artist turned self-published author was born and raised in California. She started writing her book, Vincent: The Quest for Light at the age of 15 which was inspired by a high school English assignment.
From November 2012 to August 2013 she served a proselyting mission in Phnom Penh, Cambodia through the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Upon her return, she continued The Quest for Light bringing new perspectives and depth to her characters. She later moved to West Virginia where she met her husband Logan Odie Chapman.
They were married on September 2, 2015, in the Columbus, OH LDS Temple. They currently reside in Pennsylvania and became a family of 3 in December of 2016, adopting one tricolor beagle whom they named Tavi Chapman.
Tavi is well versed in many tricks including the art of interrupting his mother for play breaks.
Chapman continues her many passions with plans to publish more novels in the Vincent series along with other projects she has in store.
