A few thoughts to fill your minds.
During the hussle and bussle of Christmas preparations I have come to reflect upon my life. There have been many opportunities this past year and many choices. It was a hard year with my husband away for work on and off, with moving into a new home, and book one of the Vincent Series being released. I have been very fortunate with the support of my family and friends. I, however, have not had the fortune to escape the holiday weather cold.
It has been 4 days and I am still trying to shake off the sniffles, and all that comes with the common bug. I am proud of myself for finishing a painting for my husband, and I have completed some editing for book 2. The rest of the shopping for the family stocking will have to be procrastinated until this weekend. Though I am not worried. People make Christmas, not presents.
This year all the kids in my family, and I used the word kid loosely (we are all grown adults) have the opportunity to make a meal each this weekend. We will be gathered together at our parents home to share good tiding (hopefully not to many bickerings) and share our love for one another.
I am so grateful for a roof over my head, food in my belly, and the warmth of the family surrounding me. This cold will not damper my spirits. I hope th challenges in your lives will be washed away by the love you have for one another. Rekindle those relationships. Families are forever, treat them as such.
And as always, keep writing.
Wishing you a happy holiday,
